Susan Peters (born September 27) is a main anchor on KAKE-TV, the ABC affiliate in Wichita, Kansas.
Susan graduated from Western Illinois University with a B.A. in Communications.

Susan began her broadcast career at WHOI-TV, the ABC affiliate in Peoria, Illinois. She anchored from 1983–1991 at KWCH-TV in Wichita. In 1991, Susan moved to San Diego, California for 4 years at KFMB-TV, the CBS affiliate. In 1995, Susan returned to the anchor chair in Wichita, making her one of the longest running anchors in the market.
Susan holds various regional Emmy awards for her reporting in both California and Kansas, and is known for her volunteer work within the community. She is active in the local Lebanese American community.
1. In January 2007 Susan was featured on the national public radio program Weekend America. The discussion revolved around whether her profile on Wikipedia should be deleted based upon Wikipedia's notability guidelines. The result of the AfD in question was keep, and Weekend America announced it as such.
2. In an MSNBC.com investigation into partisan journalists/newspersons who donate to political parties and causes, Susan Peters was found to have donated to a liberal organization with ties to the Democratic party.
